Personal Lines Property & Casualty Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

Team Mongin is growing and looking to hire! We are seeking a key player in a small, professional, and fast paced insurance agency. The applicant must have strong written and oral communication skills. Applicants must be proficient in using a PC based computer system and the ability to use Word and Excel. The ideal applicant will be self-directed, detail and results oriented, with a clear focus on high quality. This is a part-time position. The ability to maintain confidentially at all times is critical.

  • 2 years insurance related experience is required (property and casualty insurance related preferred).

  • Must have property and casualty insurance license or be willing to obtain within 3 months of being hired.

  • Ability to complete a defined set of daily client service tasks efficiently.

  • Answering multi-line phone system and direct calls to agent.

  • Provide administrative support to all members of the organization.

  • Coordinate calendars and schedule appointments.

  • Assist clients who arrive for appointments.

  • Strong written and oral communication.

  • Navigate company websites, agency management system and rating platform.

  • Assist with client mailings and other clerical duties as assigned.

  • Adhere to professional dress code as outlined in the employee handbook.

  • Self motivated and organized.

  • Work from home opportunities after training period.

  • Job Duties: Answer incoming customer inquiries, Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies, Record customer information within our customer service database, Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns, Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies, other duties as requested.
