Carl A. Mongin

Owner/Principal

Following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, Carl Mongin became fully licensed in 1974. The first area he specialized in at the start of his career was life insurance. In 1977 Carl graduated from LUTC a school for Life Insurance Producers. Upon completion Carl had the working knowledge and the ability to take and correctly diagnose every situation for its uniqueness.

As Carl continued to help clients he realized not all them were able to correctly plan for their retirement. This led Carl to pursue his Series 7 Securities license. Carl obtained his Series 7 License in March, 1984. Since Carl was young, he’s enjoyed helping others. Carl is passionate about helping clients obtain their life goals through financial security and freedom. His experiences and knowledge are a wealth of resources for his sons and other staff. It’s not unusual for Carl, Joe, and Luke to have impromptu meetings in which they implement an integrative approach and strive to find the best way to help a client.

Among his other hobbies Carl especially enjoys traveling, sailing, hiking, biking, photography, forestry, camping, exploring, and spending quality time with his family. Carl coached both basketball and baseball for his four sons. His players regarded him as a positive motivator who encouraged and accentuated their God given gifts. He also has shared many of his passions with his children; this includes his love of the outdoors. Carl loves to travel and looks forward to any opportunity to venture out, whether it’s exploring the United States, or just a short trip north to photograph waterfalls and picnic with his wife Nanette.

Carl discovered a passion for photography which is shared with his daughter Sarah and they’ve enjoyed being part of the Green Bay Camera Club. Hunting has been a passion of Carl’s life and he has shared this love of the outdoors with his sons. The past few years have been filled with watching sunrises on the Bay of Green Bay with his sons as he patiently waits for ducks and enjoying the crisp morning air as he fishes for the elusive largemouth bass.

Joseph C.S. Mongin

Sales Manager

After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a B.B.A in Finance and in Marketing in 2005, and having a strong working knowledge of Insurance; Joe went on to Dynamics of Selling School held by The National Alliance Insurance Institute. Joe wanted to give back to his occupation from the start and took a volunteer role on the Automation Committee which is part of PIA (Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin).

Joe understands that not everyone cares to understand insurance, but they do care to be understood. This is why Joe’s two part philosophy for insurance is unlike that of competitors. Joe strives to understand his client’s needs and focuses on taking the pain out of buying insurance while making it an enjoyable experience.

His parents Carl and Nanette Mongin instilled a strong work ethic and appreciation for serving others. This passion for serving others is apparent in the many service organizations and positions Joe participates in. Beginning in 2005 Joe started a basketball program for high school age boys in the Green Bay area which has been transformed into an athletic association which offers a number of sports opportunities to home school families in the Green Bay area. Joe retired from his coaching position in May of 2010 but remains active on the board of directors for Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschool Athletic Association(NEWCHAA).

Joe is also active in the local business community, currently serving on the board of directors for the MABA (The Military Avenue Business Association.)  Joe is the Chair for this marketing committee which meets monthly to work on promoting the business district.

As active as Joe is, he tries to find time to enjoy some of the simple gifts Wisconsin’s outdoors has to offer. When weather permits, Joe enjoys golfing and fishing. Outdoor interests change with the seasons for Joe and with fall brings the growing desire to be in the woods patiently waiting for his chance at a whitetail or sitting in the duck blind enjoying a hot cup of coffee with friends.

Luke J. Mongin

Account Executive/Notary Public

Luke Mongin was born in Green Bay WI, and is the newest member to our agency team. He went to Bay Port High School and achieved a B.B.A. degree with an emphasis in finance from UW-Milwaukee. Before leaving Milwaukee, Luke was given the opportunity to gain management experience at a regional outdoor wholesaler. Luke then went on to fulfill his desire to travel around the U.S.

An insurance agents job isn’t limited to understanding the companies they represent; it includes the knowledge to interpret policies of competitors. Keeping this in mind, Luke broadened his education by going to The Producer School held by The National Alliance. The Producer School focuses on professional development of risk managers through a combination of real life experiences and knowledge of insurance contracts and the coverages they offer. Luke’s goal with every client is to understand their needs and build custom policies that focus around these needs while building working relationships around prompt service.

As an outdoor enthusiast, Luke is always looking forward to his next day in the field or on the water. Having been raised to appreciate and preserve nature, Luke has participated in stream restoration through the local Trout Unlimited chapter and is now actively participating as a board member for the N.E.W. Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Working at Space Initiatives (a NASA program for gifted youth) Luke was inspired to further his diving development by working towards his Dive Master Certification. Luke’s hope is that he’ll be able to share his passion and inspire others to experience the underwater world.
